Sipping Easy this November
Sip Easy Coffee Bar is officially opening! Thursday, November 6th, the moody and glamorous coffee bar will be opening its doors to patrons. Kim Bradshaw, owner of the new coffee shop, is so excited to share the project she’s been working on for 11 months with the world.
“I feel very prepared as far as the functionality of things,” she shared. “It doesn’t seem real that it’s finally here and happening. It’s very surreal.”
If you haven’t heard about the newest addition to downtown, Sip Easy is a peacock of coffee shops, boasting bold jewel tones, art deco, glam, and gold furnishings. It has a standard European coffee menu, and Kim is starting the business off with no upcharges for flavors or variations on drinks. So, if you want that maple oat latte, you can have it without worrying about adding another dollar to your total.
The Grand Opening will have classic flavors and 3 seasonal flavors: Maple, Pumpkin Pie, and Toasted Marshmallow. Milk options will include whole, almond, oat milk, 2%, and half and half. In addition to the coffee menu, Sip Easy will offer hot chocolate and loose-leaf tea. The tea selection also features the seasonal flavors of cinnamon apple orange and vanilla caramel earl grey.
Sip Easy Coffee Bar is located at 122 S Main St. in Marion and will be open Tuesday through Saturday to start.

Supporting these shops is so important to our downtown health and ultimately, our happiness in the community. It’s special having boutiques and local storefronts that offer unique and novelty items. Happy shopping!
We are just a few weeks away from finishing The Lydia project, phase 1. This includes the three story portion, featuring 5 apartments plus Whit’s Frozen Custard! Bringing The Lydia to life has been THE most challenging and rewarding project we have ever taken on. From navigating the complexities of historic restoration to coordinating multiple contractors and public utilities, there were countless moments that tested our patience and persistence. Yet standing on the brink of seeing it come alive makes every long day and painful decision worth it. This building will soon become another cornerstone of downtown Marion’s continued renewal, bringing new residents, energy, and vitality to the corner of Church and Main Streets.
At the same time, I am so excited for the opening of Sip Easy Coffee with Kim Bradshaw, a first-time entrepreneur turned her long-held dream into reality right here in the heart of downtown. Watching someone step out in faith, take a risk, and create something new is a vivid reminder of why we do what we do. It’s what community is all about.
As we turn the corner into November, I hope you will take time to visit and support the many Holiday Open Houses happening downtown this weekend, and come back often…hopefully with a friend or two, to find special and unique gifts for all the people on your shopping list! Every purchase, every visit, and every encouraging word matters to the courageous small business owners who pour their hearts into making Marion a better place. Let’s show up for them, celebrate together, and continue building the kind of downtown we are all proud to call our own.
Better Together,
Luke Henry Col 3:23
