I am excited to share that our newest property, which we shared about a few weeks ago, has now been completely refreshed with all new paint, fixtures, hardware, furnishings, and accessories. Check out these before and after photos! I give all the credit to our team for executing this quick turn in order for this spot to be ready to rent on Airbnb and all the other online travel websites, just in time for the perfect lake
weather arriving in Ohio!

In addition to being a great looking space adjacent to charming Downtown Sandusky, we love this spot because it’s just 25 yards away from the gate to board the Jet Express, with direct routes to Put-In-Bay, Kelleys Island, and Cedar Point Amusement Park. It is also a stone’s throw from the Jackson Street Pier, home of numerous concerts and events throughout the summer, as well as other city parks and attractions.
My family recently went up for a 2 night stay to make sure all the bugs were worked out of the condo, as well as further explore the area. First of all, we parked our car and literally walked everywhere. We never had to drive to something that we wanted to do. Second, we love the amenities right on property, which include a great pool, hot tub, robust workout facility, even a ping pong table! And mostly, we explored the
many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, entertainment venues, and lakefront gathering spaces, and met a ton of wonderful people along the way, who are not only running charming businesses, but doing so for the same reasons as we are in Downtown Marion. They love their community and are committed to progress and collaboration.
I hope you will consider a visit, and if you need a place to stay, we have a great option to share! A Lake Erie sunset and time with loved ones will be good for your soul!

After last week’s episode on self-leadership and self-care, we got a lot of questions and feedback, as well as a large number of extra downloads, so it seems this topic is important, and the information resonated. I decided to even deeper on each topic discussed last week, sharing more practical tips, personal experiences, and additional resources for further education and research. I’ll admit some of my habits and idiosyncrasies may be considered weird, but I share how they have helped me keep my mind, body, and spirit in the right state to handle the demands of business, family, and personal life. Be sure to make note of the 10 books I recommend and add them to your reading list!
Please let us know, after listening to this episode, what resonated? How can we continue to add value to you and your business with additional topics?

I had the privilege of sharing with the River Valley Schools Administrative Team last week about our work in Downtown Marion, then we had some wonderful conversations about job readiness, skill development, career exploration, community integration, and more. I left the conversation excited and inspired for ways that schools continue to adapt to prepare students for the changing world we are all living in. All of us have to take a hard look in the mirror to evaluate if we are staying relevant and optimized for not only the current day, but also the future. If you’re interested in my recent musings on how to lead better with vision and clarity in your business or organization, including leading Gen Z, check out this recent podcast.
I’d love to hear from you. What are some ways you are evolving in your business or community to embrace changes in technology, communication, and changing trends?
Until next week,
